Location data, when allowed by the user, is used only to estimate elevation for psychrometric calculations and may be sent to a third-party elevation lookup service when device altitude is unavailable.

TAB Toolbox does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. The app operates entirely offline using your device's local resources.

Location and Elevation Data
TAB Toolbox may request location permission only to estimate elevation for psychrometric calculations. Location access is optional. If location access is denied or unavailable, users may manually enter elevation. When the elevation lookup is used, latitude and longitude may be sent to the elevation lookup service only to return an approximate elevation. This information is not used by TAB Toolbox for advertising, tracking, or user profiling.
When available, TAB Toolbox may use the device's location or altitude data to calculate elevation. If device altitude is unavailable, the app may use latitude and longitude to request an approximate elevation from a third-party elevation lookup service.
TAB Toolbox does not use location data for advertising, tracking, user profiling, or sale of personal information.
